1. media is very open minded so yes if you can convince them of your skills as a scientific journalist with the PG in Journo and mass comm, why not? 2. a regular course always, google your options and do a course if you are so sure about this niche 3. i always recommend work ex over courses, courses are good on the side, but media considers real work ex over anything. so go out there, intern, freelance, do jobs in the media field you want to be able to grow in that line. Greetings of the day!
I am Shivalee and I was radio professional with 6 years of experience. My husband is an army officer so we move a lot and because of that I was not been able to pursue my career. I had done PG Diploma in advertising from MICA Ahmedabad as well. I was working as content writer with Viral Shots which is a mobile application. I worked with them for more than a year. I got that job through sheroes.com. But now the company is doing away with freelance model working, so I am jobless again. Can you please suggest/recommend me something/somewhere so that I can pursue my career with my husband's posting.

I think freelancing would be most ideal for you, maybe you should research on online media publications that accept and pay writers, as well as content writing companies. Content writers are highly sought after these days. View Less12 Jan 2017, 01:33pm

I am planning to start an e-magazine for children(age group 7-14). Later on, I want to go for a printed version. I really do not know how to go about it (especially the illustrations part as I can take care of the content). I'd like to know your opinion and valuable suggestions. Thank you. 31 Dec 2016, 01:27pm
